Team Marcie - ING NYC Marathon 11/7/2010

Team Marcie ran the ING New York City Marathon on November 7, 2010.

For the first time ever, The Marcie Mazzola Foundation was selected as one of New York Road Runners Charity Partners! This opportunity enabled the Marcie Mazzola Foundation to provide “Team Marcie” guaranteed marathon entries to a limited number of runners who pledged to make a donation/raise funds for the Marcie Mazzola Foundation.

One of the most prestigious marathon courses in the world, the ING New York City Marathon takes over 40,000 runners through the streets of 5 boroughs, across 5 bridges and ends in Central Park with over 2 million spectators from all over the world.  Crossing the finish line of the ING NYC Marathon is one of the true thrills of a lifetime and a moment you will never forget!

Proceeds raised for the Marcie Mazzola Foundation help children in need.

Requirements of Joining Team Marcie

• Complete, sign and return the Team Marcie contract by June 27, 2010 (PDF / Word)
• Create your personal fundraising page
• $25 Team Marcie Participation fee (to be applied to the donation/fundraising commitment
• Commit to raise at least $2,500 for Team Marcie by October 25, 2010
