300 Attendees Help to Raise Funds for Abused and At-Risk Children! The Marcie Mazzola Foundation was proud to honor Robert Stapleton, owner of Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub, for his community philanthropy and support of the foundation. The 6th Annual Butterfly Auction & Dinner was held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Westbury Manor, Westbury, NY. We would like to thank our sponsors, our committee members and most of all, you, the attendees for your continued support of our mission. Fifth Annual EventThe 5th Annual Butterfly Auction & Dinner was held on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Westbury Manor.
This year's auction was a tremendous success. Thank you to all our sponsors, supporters, committee members and guests the Marcie Mazzola Foundation Butterfly Auction and Dinner raised $65,000. The evening was a fun filled night with lots of wonderful auction items being won by all. The funds raised will certainly change the lives of many children in need. We are so thankful to all the continued support we receive at the Marcie Mazzola Foundation. Your kindess and donations allow us to continue to Help Children in Need. |

The festivities included cocktail hour, dinner, a Chinese Raffle and a Silent Auction with over 100 items/gift baskets on which to bid. Once again the fundraising outcome was successful and $57,000 was raised. The Second Annual EventThe Second Annual Marcie Mazzola Foundation Butterfly Auction was held at the Westbury Manor, Westbury NY on October 27, 2005. This event followed the same format as the previous event with a vast array of items from which to choose.
The First Annual EventOn November 4, 2004, the First Annual Marcie Mazzola Foundation Butterfly Auction was held at the Fox Hollow, Woodbury NY. The festivities included dinner, a Chinese Raffle and a Silent Auction with 175 items/gift baskets on which to bid.

The Marcie Mazzola Foundation held the Seventh Annual Butterfly Auction & Dinner on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 6:30 - 10:30 pm at Westbury Manor, Westbury, NY. This year the Marcie Mazzola Foundation honored Allied Building Products Corp for their community philanthropy and presented The Marcie Mazzola Children's Advocate of the Year Award to Tom Gubitosi, Marie Holdings, Inc.
Brian J. Jusas President & Owner of Bold Systems, LLC was the Event Honoree.
The Third Annual Marcie Mazzola Foundation Butterfly Auction & Dinner took place on October 26, 2006, at The Westbury Manor, Westbury NY. Mr. James Hazen, president and owner of
Gabe Bentovim of Hoffman & Bentovim CPA, Commack NY was the Honoree. A lifetime friend and business associate of Marcie’s Dad Paul, Gabe was instrumental in assisting the family in establishing the foundation. Since its inception, Gabe has been handling all accounting related aspects for the foundation.
The guest speaker was Caitlin Mesiano who is affiliated with The Smile Train. She is from Center Moriches, NY and was born with cleft palate. Caitlin has undergone numerous corrective surgeries and has overcome many challenges. She is a beautiful, talented, young woman and is currently a theatre major at Pace University in Manhattan, NY. At the end of her speech, Caitlin gave the guests a surprise finale by singing a modern rendition of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”. Caitlin is a shining example for the world to see just what a person can achieve with medical assistance, love and support from family along with personal courage and determination.
