The run/walk is a community and life-affirming event honoring Marcie as well as a renewal of commitment to her legacy of improving the lives of the children of the community. |
The people pictured all came out for the 3rd annual Marcie Mazzola Memorial Run/Walk held on April 19th at the Huntington YMCA. NYODN- New York Organ Donor Network teamed up with the Marcie Mazzola Foundation and the Huntington YMCA to sign people up on the NYS Donor registry (to become organ and tissue donors). Pictured are Assemblyman James Conte (center) transplant recipients and donor families along with members from LI-NYODN. The woman in the purple tee-shirt is Nancy Mazzola, Marcie's step mom and the president of the Marcie Mazzola Foundation.
