Team Marcie - ING NYC Marathon

Team Marcie excelled with the runners completing a grueling 26.2 miles and raising more than $40,000 to benefit the Marcie Mazzola Foundation’s mission of helping children in need.

Team Marcie, consisting of 15 runners, participated in the ING New York City Marathon again this year.

The Marcie Mazzola Foundation was once again selected as one of New York Road Runners Charity Partners! This opportunity enabled the Marcie Mazzola Foundation to provide “Team Marcie” guaranteed marathon entries to 15 runners who pledged to make a donation/raise funds for the Marcie Mazzola Foundation.

One of the most prestigious marathon courses in the world, the ING New York City Marathon takes over 40,000 runners through the streets of 5 boroughs, across 5 bridges and ends in Central Park with over 2 million spectators from all over the world.  Crossing the finish line of the ING NYC Marathon is one of the true thrills of a lifetime and a moment you will never forget!

Proceeds raised for the Marcie Mazzola Foundation help children in need.
